It was clear that TESI enjoyed performing at a young age. Growing up in a creative household, there was always music playing and she credits her parents with exposing her to many different genres of music. It was during these early years that her parents began to notice her ability to mimic any song that she heard, not only memorizing the words but singing on pitch.

Recognizing her love of music, her parents gave her piano lessons at a young age. She was always a child who could express herself with words beyond her years, soon she began to put her thoughts into song. She wrote her first completed song at eleven years old.

Her high school years would give her the opportunity to hone her talent. Her vocal control and versatility to sing across many genres came from both her Classical training at New York’s Fiorello Laguardia High School of the Performing Arts and her private lessons with talented Jazz/Vocal teachers in NYC. She was awarded ‘Top Prize’ for a Vocal performance of ‘Voi Che Sapete’ in the 2021 International Grande Music Competition, but it was her Laguardia New Music Ensemble class, a collaborative class for composers, musicians, and producers that would have a huge impact on her music, TESI was born.

Her powerful complex vocals have given her the ability to create her own soulful eclectic style. She has been performing her original songs at venues in NYC since a young age, The Bitter End, The Cutting Room and The Apollo, just to name a few. She currently attends Berklee College of Music.
